(Updated Summer 2025)
I’m Yanlin Fu, an undergraduate at Fudan University who is currently open to jobs market and PhD positions in computational cognitive neuroscience, BCI, or AI. My research focuses on human language processing using high-temporal-resolution imaging techniques like MEG. I advocate for Chinese Open Science and am developing streamlined MEG/EEG analysis pipelines—covering preprocessing, group-level/surrogate decoding, searchlight decoding, spectral analysis, and geometry analysis—with high-speed parallelization for broader accessibility (RSA part and decoding part is undergoing code review and unit test and have been set to private repository now).

My research philosophy on computational cognitive neuroscience is that CCN might not lead the general development of AI (the last time might be drop-out but no longer for GPTs model) but it is suitable for solving the corner case of understanding intelligence. Like in the spring of 2023, most SOTA GPT4 cannot answer properly to question like “生菜煮熟了还是生菜吗” (Is boiled lettuce still lettuce, but in Chinese, lettuce has meaning of ‘cold vegetable’), but now even small LLMs like qwen3.0-0.6b can answer it properly. In cognitive neuroscience we need to design well-established experiment digging out the human potential of understanding problem that are not a problem/benchmark for LLMs nowadays.
